A period of silence is taken at each Annual General Meeting to remember those forestry professionals who were members of RPFANS and others whose contribution is worthy of remembrance, that passed away since the last AGM. The following people have been remembered:

2018 Peter DeMarsh, Member in New Brunswick. Died tragically in a plane crash in Ethiopia working in forestry stewardship.
